My story starts a little rough. I came to Unleash the Paws with my brother Pico after spending two long months in the county shelter. Our mama, who was labeled as a Pharaoh Hound mix, was there with us too. Sadly, when the shelter got overcrowded, she was placed on the euthanasia list. Even though Unleash the Paws tried to save her, they were just a little too late. It broke all of our hearts.

After we lost our mom, Pico and I ended up on the euthanasia list too. Thankfully, this time Unleash the Paws was able to step in just in time and save us before it was too late. Now, Pico and I have been given a second chance at life and we’re making the most of it!

I’m about 4 months old now, and my foster family says I’m an absolute sweetheart. I’m playful, affectionate, and so grateful to finally be safe. I love making new doggie friends and having fun, but I’m also a big fan of snuggles and being close to my people. One of my favorite things is to sit right by my foster mom’s feet and soak up all the love and pets, it’s my happy place. My soft, happy eyes will melt your heart in an instant.

I’m also super smart and doing really well with potty training. I usually go outside when I’m let out, and if I need to go inside, I’ll use a pee pad (sometimes I miss a little, but I’m learning fast — promise!).

More than anything, I just want a family to love me forever — someone who will show me every day how good life can be. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, playful boy to fill your home with love, I might just be the one you’ve been waiting for.
