Hi there, I’m Mocky! I have so much to tell you so I better get started…

I am 6 years old and my most favorite toy in the world is my pineapple with sunglasses plush toy. I like to bring it with me basically everywhere and I also use it as a “hey, I’m comfortable and calm” gesture by giving it to a human to hold on to. I also show I am comfortable by sliding my bottom close to your feet. To me that says, “hey, let’s snuggle please.”

Next to my pineapple toy there are a lot of things I also love like afternoon naps, peanut butter treats, daily nature walks, playing fetch with tennis balls, and cuddles. And of course, I love my humans! It brings me so much joy to be able to spend time with them. Sometimes when I am excited, I like to hop up, but I get that not everyone is a fan of that, so I am working on switching out those hops for just wiggles and tail wags. I am pretty good at the tail wag if I do say so myself!

My foster says I have got smarts galore and on top of that I love to learn. I have gotten to learn so many new tricks and am doing great at adapting to a routine. Right now, I am now focused on getting my leash manners perfected!

Humans are awesome but for now, I really should go to a home without kids. I have met other dogs and I like to smell them but that’s about it. I would much rather hang out with my humans instead. Rabbits… well I don’t know what it is about them but all I want to do is chase them. So, I probably shouldn’t be in a home with a cat because I feel like a cat wouldn’t appreciate it if I mistook it for a rabbit.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
