Mochi Mixed Breed Meridian, ID

Say hello to Mochi!!! This sweet, energetic girl was surrendered to MCR in December after her guardian experienced some big life changes. Mochi went straight into foster with Gloria and her family, and she's been doing so well in their home. Now, our cutest 2 year old pup is ready to find her adopters.

Mochi would be an amazing addition to lots of families. She's energetic and affectionate. Playful and smart. Mochi has lived with kids and cats and loves other dogs. Mochi prefers to avoid conflict and will typically run away if the cats get too scary, for example. She knows how to respect others' space -- except during terrifying moments like fireworks, when she just wants to be close to her people.

Mochi needs a minute to warm up to new people and animals, but then she's usually ready to be friends. Her future family should continue to build her confidence through enrichment and rewards based training. She is already adept at a variety of cued behaviors and is working on others (crate training is one of her foster family's recent goals).

We're looking for someone active who wants to spend lots of quality time with this young lady. Mochi is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and ready to share many happy years with a loving family.
