Mocha and Latte Jack Russell Terrier Mix Toronto, ON

Hello there, our names are Latte and Mocha and we are two tiny two-year-old girls looking for a forever home where we can be together. We are chi/rat terrier/JRT crosses

You can see in the picture the shape we were in when an Angel rescued us and took her into her home. We were given soft beds to sleep in, good food to eat and also health care. Slowly we began to trust and to realize this was how life was meant to be. Did we mention food? We love to eat and we get to have all we want now.

Now we love each other so much and so we need to stay together and after all we have went through it is the right thing to do. We are house-trained but with this bitter cold we sometimes will leave an offering in front of the door, but we will run out and do our pees. As we get used to the weather here, we promise we start going outside to do it all. We do love the snow and racing about,but the cold, oh my goodness our legs get so cold and it is hard to stay out for too long.

We will be timid at first and a bit skittish, so we will hold off on walks etc until we grow braver. In the house it won’t take us long to settle in and we love to play with toys, chew on bones and have lots of fun. We can run so fast. We will also want to sit on your knee and after a day or so will let you pick us up and help us do things, We just have to make sure, as trust is a new thing for us.

We are always close to each other and Mocha likes to be the boss even though she is tiny and Latte is quite content to follow her lead. The love these girls have for each other is amazing and they are eager to share it with their own family.

They should have someone with them and if possible, not be gone for too long periods of time. They live right now in a house full of fur-kids and have made themselves at home.

They are delightful, well behaved, eager to please, have great fun with toys, and will share anything they have. When they sleep they often wrap their little arms around each other.

They will bond quickly but will need time and patience with new things and as they adjust, but they are very curious and eager for love and that will move them forward. They also love little treats as rewards and are always eager to please.
