Meet Mocha

Mocha was a bit shy when she was first rescued by Hooves, Paws and Claws, but she quickly began to enjoy her new life at the HPC West Bradenton facility. Running around and playing with the other dogs is a favorite activity, so she's looking for a home with a fenced-in yard. She needs a playmate as well!

She's about 50 pounds, give or take...just your average not-small and not-huge dog.

We had Mocha's DNA analyzed, and 67% of her is a mixture of seven types of hound - Bluetick Coonhound, Plott Hound, Catahoula Leopard Dog, Treeing Walker Coonhound, Beagle, American Foxhound, and Redbone Coonhound.

So she's more than ready to be adopted by hound lovers!

She'll be fostered for a period of time before the adoption is finalized...just to make sure she likes the family and the family likes her! HPC visits the home during that time, so we're looking for an adopter in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida).
