Meet Mocha
Mocha is one of the most enthusiastic, energetic, affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She's just plain lovable!
We found her lying on the side of a rural road. She had recently given birth, but we couldn't locate any puppies. And she was heartworm positive. Her eyes and demeanor told us she knew she needed help and was grateful to be receiving it.
Mocha is now spayed, heartworm negative, and very healthy. Happiness for her is...being with people who love her...running around the yard...having at least one buddy to play with!
At about 50 pounds, Mocha is just your average not-small and not-huge dog.
We had her DNA analyzed, and 67% of her is a mixture of SEVEN types of hound.
Our adoption process involves a foster period...just to make sure she likes the family and the family likes her! We visit the home during that time, so we're looking for an adopter in the Bradenton/Sarasota (Florida) area.
