Meet Mocha

Meet Mocha!

Mocha is an absolutely delightful and squirmy dog who is having a blast exploring her new world. She's a very busy girl and is endlessly entertaining. Mocha is about one year old and still has that fun puppy energy. When you are talking to her, her whole body wiggles with excitement. She loves to chew on bones and pull out all the toys from the toy bin so she can pick which one she would like to play with first. She is getting better with entertaining herself when her foster siblings are tired. She would love to have a dog sibling who likes to play- if it was up to her she would play all day long. If you're looking for a playmate for your dog, Mocha is your girl. She is perfect in her crate and has never gone potty in her crate. She also likes to store her toys in there for safe keeping. Right now she is left in her crate for 9 hours during the day and she is crated at night. Mocha is potty trained but has had a few accidents right after a play session if she has not been outside in a while. She makes hilarious noises when she is frustrated. She grazes on her food all day and actually eats right next to her foster dog siblings with no issues. Mocha wears a harness for walks and does need some work with pulling at the beginning of a walk. She has learned quite a few commands, but needs continued work on her manners. When she is tuckered out she loves to snuggle and will always roll onto her back for a tummy rub. If Mocha sounds like a good addition to your family, please ask to meet her!

Mocha's adoption fee is $300 and she is being fostered in Slinger Wisconsin.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
