Meet Mocha

Have you ever been scared to death? Do you remember the feeling of paralyzing horror, which almost stop your breath?
Mocha – a tiny 3 years old Chihuahua can tell you a lot about what it means to be afraid.
All his short life he didn’t know much besides his owners. He was adopted as a tiny puppy (he was a cutest one from the litter), but later his owners decided to “dounsize” and there was not any place left for a little Mocha in the new downsized household. Maybe it is more fair to say there was not any place left in the owners’ hearts for a tiny Chihuahua… This is how Mocha came to us. You can tell that it is an almost happy ending…
But it’s not what Mocha feels. He doesn’t understand why suddenly everything he was used to just disappeared - his people, his home and and whole his life. Instead of a familiar routine he is brought to a strange big bright place full of unknown dogs and a lot of unknown people and too much noise! He is scared to death of everything.
He doesn’t know that it’s – a pet adoption. He doesn’t know that people come here to adopt dogs. He doesn’t know that to be adopted you have to act like a very happy, playful and bright dog, for people to notice you and to like you…
He didn’t do any of that. Mocha was laying all days long without even moving to get water, food or restroom. If somebody came to him, the only acting he did – was look at this person with unreal big scared eyes and start to shake! His whole body was saying: “If you come any closer to me or touch me, I will die immediately… Please, leave me alone…” And of course he was left alone. No one adopted Mocha and took him home…
So, Mocha is still alone and he is still very afraid. But all this can be easily changed. If some really kind and patient person will be able to take a look at Mocha. This person will see behind a pitiful shaking little creature with scared eyes, the very cute and lovely gracious boy full of love and loyalty. Just give Mocha a chance and a little time to warm up and show his best features.
You will see what a real great dog Mocha is. He is a young small dog with delicate manners and great personality. He is quite and calm. Not demanding at all, not aggressive. And once Mocha trusts you, he will be your best friend forever.
If you are looking for a tiny dog with nice and calm temperament, maybe you have to meet Mocha?
