Hello there! I'm Goldy. I'm ready to cheer on the Gophers now that I'm in Minnesota! I'm originally from Alabama. Life there wasn't the best, so my brothers and I were saved by amazing people there and they helped get us here.

I am an intelligent and inquisitive pup, which is probably why I was named after a university Mascot! My intelligence really shines when it comes to training. GREAT news, if you keep me on a schedule, I am sure to do all of my business outside! I do well in my crate, I even sleep through the night. I have even learned to sit and listen well when my foster mom talks to me! I LOVE being outside. Do you have a big fenced yard? I would love to play some fetch with you!

I LOVE people! I sit really nicely so they will pet me. I get along with grownups, kids, and other dogs. I am doing well with my cat brother, we boop noses now but I mostly just leave him alone. My foster mom says I am a sweet boy who deserves a loving forever home, will that be you?

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
