Missy Pit Bull Terrier & Australian Shepherd Mix Portland, OR

Missy is a ten month old funny little girl. We have her as Pitt/Austrailian Shepherd mix, because we don't even know what else to call her. She is for sure a hodgepodge dog! She is oddly short and stumpy; has spots like a cattle dog and a hilarious corkscrew tail that looks like a question mark. I think she is best described as short and stocky mutt!

Missy came in with Music from San Francisco Animal Services where they were surrendered to them by their owner who felt she couldn't keep up with a pair of young dogs. These ladies were staff and volunteer favorites there. They are a hoot to watch together and have been good little ladies in their kennel. They both have awesome dog/dog skills and seem quite savvy - they love playgroup time. They are very active girls and will need some additional training on their manners and impulse control. Their foster is working on their hyperactivity and jumping up. They will definitely do best in an active household. May be too much for younger children but would be just fine with older children or teens. If you need a hiking buddy one of these girls just might be what you are looking for.

All our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated to date and microchipped through the rescue.
