Missy is a joyful, playful little girl who gets along well with other small dogs of her size that are equally as nice. She loves to go for car rides. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly all night in her crate, but will enjoy snuggling in bed with you if allowed.
Missy is extremely sweet and would do best in an adults-only home as she tends to get very curious and involved about the people she loves.
Missy doesn’t require special grooming beyond the occasional bath and daily brush and once she warms up to you she is your best friend. She is food motivated and will sit if asked nicely.
Missy knows her name and will come to you when called. She also enjoys sitting on your lap for a snuggle.
It always helps to have a snack on hand for her.
Missy was owner surrendered to a shelter. Per the shelter notes, the previous owners were unwilling and unable to invest the time and do the work necessary to have a pet.
