Meet Missy
Missy is available for adoption!!!
Missy is an extremely sweet, spunky 4 month old puppy. She gets along great with dogs, cats and would do well with kids.
Missy’s forever home MUST understand that she has past trauma that needs undoing. She is NOT leash trained and associates the leash with scary things.
Missy is crate trained and will tuck herself away if she’s tired or overwhelmed. She has done very well with pottying outside and will sit quietly by the door until she is let out.
Missy is a little slow to warm up (runs and hides) - but once she does, watch out - she will be your new bestie forever! Missy’s family will need to continue socializing her in an appropriate and structured manner. This means Missy may not do well in large groups for a while. She needs to learn her family will keep her safe before plopping her in with a bunch of random strangers. She will not do well walking around in public on a leash until she learns the leash is not a torture device. She should not be let loose off leash anywhere as she may bolt if scared.
If you are willing to give Missy the structure and stability she needs, fill out an application here: www.boisebullybreedrescue.com.
