Missie Shih Tzu Mix Palatine, IL

Who’s this cutie, you ask? This is Missie, an 11 pound Lhasa Apso and Shih Tzu mix. Five years old and as fluffy as can be, Missie is searching for the person to finally provide her with a forever home.

Missie is an extremely fast learner. She started out terrified to go on a walk and was even scared of the leash itself. Now, after just a couple of weeks, Missie loves walks and could be a model dog for leash manners. 

Missie appears to be housebroken and has been great with other dogs and young children. Missie also does fine left alone, though she will bark for the first few minutes after her people leave. Since she never chews anything that isn’t hers, there is no need for a crate. 

Chasing squirrels isn’t Missie’s thing, nor does she show much interest in jumping up on furniture. She’d much rather sleep in her doggie bed, though she does enjoy snuggling with her people or soaking up sunshine on the patio. 

Missie requires some patience as she gets to know you. She shows some nervousness regarding new situations and may take a few days to completely trust a new person. However, once she does, she is as loyal as can be. 

Cuddly, loving, and sweet, Missie is the definition of a devoted companion. Can you provide the home she so deserves?�

If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. :-)
