Meet Miss Waldo
Miss Waldo lived a life as a junkyard dog for several years. Rockstar Rescue became aware of her in 2019 when she had puppies that we rescued from the heat and helped whelp. We tried to catch Waldo but she wasn't having it!
Fast forward to 2021 when she again had another, much smaller, litter. These pups were younger and we were able to trap Waldo with them and bring her to our facility. With us she learned human touch and trust, though she still remains VERY timid, and cautious.
She is now pup-free, all spayed, vaccinated and ready to meet a family that can give her a CALM, home.
We recommend no small children due to her skittish behavior.
She will need secure fencing and someone with patience and understanding of her fearful nature, to just leave her be and let her build trust in her own time. Once she's comfortable, she is very sweet and loving.
