What is Save Our Herders Outreach’s adoption process?

SOHO Adoption Process: Want to send us a question? Please send it to saveourherdersoutreach@gmail.com. Please note all of our dogs are kept in private foster homes; we do not have a facility where the dogs can be viewed. As such, we do have to screen applicants prior to a meet and greet to ensure the safety and security of our foster homes and applicants. 1. Adoption application (www.sohodogrescue.org/adoption-application) 2. Your application is reviewed by our team leads and foster homes (please note: if the dog is listed as a "Coming Attraction", application review takes place only after the dog has become "Available". However, applications can be submitted before that time). 3. Reference checks and phone interview 4. Home visit (we sometimes conduct these by FaceTime or Zoom) 5.
