Meet Miss Luna!

Miss Luna is an adult Catahoula/Rottweiler mix who found herself on borrowed time when her and her sister lost the only home they've ever known due to no fault of their own. Luckily, Almost Home Foundation was able to step up and save both of them just in time, but now Miss Luna is looking for a foster or forever home

Miss Luna is not only beautiful, but she is smart and sweet too! She love humans and is very affectionate. She will slobber you with kisses if you allow it. Because Miss Luna is an alpha dog, she will require an alpha human leader. She previously lived with her sister, a small dog and a cat - and while she still co exists greatly with other dogs on pack walks and outings, she would prefer to be the only dog in her future home. We also believe she would do best with older children as younger ones may overwhelm her. She is potty trained, house trained and crate trained and knows the commands: sit, down, paw, high-five, and spin. Miss Luna is a pretty laid back gal who enjoys the little things in life such as loving pets from her humans and a good nap on the couch!

Almost Home Foundation's adoption requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age;
Have the consent of all adults living in the household;
Have approval from the residence owner;
Have valid ID with current address;
Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home;
Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)
