Mirabel's Story
Why yes I was named after a Disney Star!!! My name is Mirabell. I am a star on my own though!! I am around 2.5 years old - totally vetted and up to date on all!

I have a beautiful sparkling white coat with a dash of brown here and there. I have the best ears and stunning golden eyes. My ears are quite unique because they sometimes go in opposite directions but my foster mom and friends say, thats pretty cute!! (Blush) I love life and people and I get along with doggies as well. I am not only special because I am so cute but I am special because I am deaf. I mean they tell me I am - but I have never known sound so I am not missing out on anything. The rescue has adopted out many deaf dogs just like me and they have two of their very own team members who have deaf dogs that can answer any questions about being a deaf dog parent that you can speak to. I can still live a great life and love you so hard because there is something about a deaf dog that creates a special bond with their owners.! One of my babies was deaf as well and he is leading a rockstar life in New York. Deaf dogs are great because another reason is that we are not scared of fireworks or bad weather. My foster mom says all I need are bells so you can hear me and we are good at hearing my location even if I can't hear you. I weigh about 52 lbs - I am a lean lovely stocky babe!

Let me tell you about my rescue story because my life started out pretty rough until rescue came along. My owners never spayed me and then I was picked up and taken to a high kill shelter. Well, if that wasn't bad enough I was pregnant. Now if you have ever seen a southern shelter, then you know the despair. Even more so because I am a terrier mix because most terriers never make it out especially if you're pregnant. I was one of the lucky ones that made it out! While in the shelter, I gave birth to 8 puppies. The shelter lady had a soft spot for me so she kept contacting rescues till she found one to help me. Myself and 3 of my babies were picked up by Cenla Alliance for Animals. My foster mom has a soft spot for terriers and said she saw love in my eyes and could not pass me and my babies up. My other 3 babies went to another rescue. So me and my pups hit the big time and were saved by rescue!. My babies were adopted out last year in October and are living their best life - Spanky, Skittles and Arturo!! I had to wait to be adopted until now because I had to go through heartworm treatment and now I am clear and ready for my turn!! I am ready and excited to have my very own family who love me for my heart and good looks - I just need my very own family to love and care for me. I look forward to meeting you when that time comes!

Apply Today:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTORoCzcVe8_f4NnKCiQIGyVDOFXX108Oyt3T-U_rIfaxj0g/viewform

Adoption Fee: $620w.
