Meet Mint

Mint is ready to share her story! ♥

I am just a girl looking for her forever family. I have been choosing the short end of the stick ever since I was born and I am ready to finally settle down somewhere. I was originally part of a hoarding case. Then I was adopted and returned. Once again I was adopted and now returned again. The only reason given was " Change in family structure". So, here I am again. Just a girl looking to find a place where she belongs. One that will be loyal. I am sooo loyal to my people. I love them to the moon and back and they keep passing me around. I just want a family, someone who will hold me and never let me go.

My name is Mint and I am a 15-month-old female Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix. I weigh around 52lbs and am not expected to get any bigger.

She would love a home with another playful dog that has either kids or adults to give her lots of love!

-Is there anything else you would like to mention about your foster dog?

Mint is the most perfect girl! She has the absolute sweetest personality and has so much charisma! I've had the pleasure of knowing Mint both as a puppy and as an adult and she has always been the most loving girl. She loves playing with her foster siblings, chewing on toys, playing outside, and sleeping! Mint is a medium-energy girl and loves to sleep just as much as she loves playing. She is a big couch potato but also loves sleeping on the cool tile. We feed her separately from the other dogs due to her food aggression but she has no problems taking treats with her foster siblings around. Mint would be a perfect fit in almost any home! She's a lover despite everything she's gone through. If you want a sweet, beautiful, perfect dog, Mint is your girl!

Phew! That took longer than I thought! Hopefully, all your questions about me were answered though! Before you apply to adopt me I have a few last things that I would like to discuss!

-How can someone adopt me?
The first step is to fill out an adoption app for me at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app

Once this app comes in, it will get sent on to my foster family and they will help me decide if we are a match or not.

-Where are you being fostered?
I am being fostered in Moore, OK.

-Would I need to pick you up?
Yes, you would need to pick me up. This rescue does not send us on transports. It is less stress on us that way. Plus, you and I can already start bonding on the road trip home!

-Can I adopt you even if I don't live in Oklahoma?
Yes, I am okay moving to a new state.

-How much is your adoption fee?
My adoption fee is $225.

That includes my DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordatella shots. I will be micro-chipped, heart-worm tested, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
