Meet Minnie
Meet Minnie!!!
At six years old, her world was turned upside down when her family reloacrted to China and could not take her with them. It took a few days in care before Minnie would eat. It wasn't until foster mom was out in the yard and picked up a dirty old tennis ball that Minnie's face lit up. We later would learn that Minnie use to spend her weekends at Tennis matches and it was her job to retrieve the balls that went over the fence. She use to spend her evenings taking long walks and sometimes hikes on the local trails.
Minnie has been in foster care for months, she is learning to love again.
She enjoys playing with tennis balls as well as other toys. Minnie has a particular fondness for plushies, though she may dissect them to extract the squeakerso stuffing-free options are definitely her preference.
She is excited to take walks or hop in the car. Ready for an adventure.
She is good with other dogs but her favorite companions are her people.
Minnie walks well on leash, She enjoys her walks.
She is crate trained but would prefer to hangout on the couch, She is house trained and has earned her rights to do so.
Minnie is the perfect size at about 30-35 lbs.
She knows all the essential commands like sit, stay, lay down, and come.
Sadly, Minnie's family relocated to China and was unable to take her along. She is now seeking a loving home where she will be cherished and adored for the wonderful companion she is.
