Minnie Retriever & Border Collie Mix Loveland, CO

Meet Ms. Minnie! She is 5 months old, and weighs about 22 pounds now, so she is really a "minnie" retriever! Her mom was a labradoodle, and dad unknown (but we think border collie based on the looks of the whole litter). That said, Minnie just looks like an adorable mini black, long-haired retriever!

She is a very happy puppy, and LOVES attention, so she will be a wonderful, cuddly companion. She is happiest cuddled up next to her person. Like most puppies, she will need work on housebreaking (altho she stays clean in her crate during the day and overnight for 9 hours). She crates well, and gets along with other dogs big and small.

She is still learning how to walk on a leash, and can sometimes get a little panicky when she realizes she is restrained, altho this has improved a great deal since she arrived a week ago. We are working on this, however, her best home would be with a yard, so this training can continue at a pace that she is comfortable with until she's ready to go on walks. It won't be long, and she is well worth the investment of your time and patience!
