Minnie is a 6 year old, 7lb Chihuahua/ Papillon who was rescued with her daughter Ivory after they were about to be surrendered to the shelter. Ivory has already been adopted and now it is Minnie’s turn. Minnie is super sweet, loving and is a complete cuddle bug. Minnie has been diagnosed with a heart issue. She saw one of the best cardiologists who determined that she has a leaky valve and will have to be on medicine the rest of her life. It doesn’t slow her down a bit. She likes other dogs and sometimes plays with them but enjoys fine by herself as well. She was being picked on by her daughter so we need to make sure she’s with another super friendly dog. Minnie does have some slight separation anxiety but is doing great adjusting in her foster home. Minnie has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Although Minnie is good with all kids we would like her in a home with kids over the age of 13. A home with less commotion will help her adjust quicker. Minnie is a great couch snuggled, but she will try to push you off to get more comfortable!!!
