Meet Minnie

Meet Minnie! 1.5 years old, 88# She was surrendered when her previous owner graduated and could not find housing and a suitable work schedule to keep her dogs.
Minnie is a house-trained and does not appear to need a crate. She is dog social, walks well on a leash and most often has a calm house presence. She ignored the cats she met recently.
She exhibits many characteristics typical of Great Pyrenees - barking to alert you to unfamiliar sounds indoors and outdoors, independent nature and lower energy when indoors. She has grown up with access to outdoor fenced space and will be most successful with a secured backyard that she can visit. She will need training to curtail her outdoor barking if you have neighbors that don’t appreciate her commitment to keeping watch over her kingdom and is not suitable for apartment living. She is affectionate, very people social and has a calm presence when out and about in the community.
