Pretty Minnie Terrier Mix Winchendon, MA

Meet Minnie! She is a sweet little senior girl with a lot of love to give. She is 12 years old and weighs in at around 10 pounds. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to use a doggie door.

Minnie gets very excited when her foster mom comes home, and isn't afraid to show it! She loves attention, and will jump up on her person to make sure that she is getting as much as possible. When you ask her if she wants to go outside she will spin around in a circle as if to say "Yes Please!". She also loves to sit on her foster mom's lap or right next to her. She is very good for bath time. Minnie was not so sure of strangers when she arrived at her foster home, but now she has learned that strangers will be nice to her, so she excitedly greets everyone that she meets. Minnie is great on a leash and in the car. She is crate trained, and does well crated during the day but at night she likes to sleep in bed with her foster mom and her crew of other dogs. She is such a sweet dog! She came into rescue overweight and a little snarky, and has gotten down to an appropriate weight and turned her demeanor around completely! A real Cinderella story!

Minnie gets along with all of the dogs at her foster home, as long as they don't try to take away her treats.

Minnie would like a home with no small children.

MEDICAL

Minnie is fully vaccinated and just had a dental cleaning to polish up her pearly whites. She has a trachea cough that has been examined and has been cleared as a non-issue.
