Hi, my name is Minkuk! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Independent, curious and mellow.
-Can Live with Kids: No thank you - 16 and older. Minkuk has handling sensitives and is fearful of loud noises and fast movements.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need proper introduction.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, introduction done here at WHS
-Can do Apartment Living: No high foot traffic apartments or apartments that require you to take elevators as that would be overwhelming for Minkuk if strangers were in close proximity.
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: None
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, one private lesson to help Minkuk gain confidence.
-Energy Level: Low - may have more energy once comfortable in his own home.
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: *UPDATE AFTER PUFA CHECK*
-Additional Information: Minkuk is an older gentlemen that was left at the shelter for no fault of his own. The shelter has been very overwhelming and scary and he has been taking his time warming up to staff. Minkuk will need a very patient, dog-experienced home that will take time to help him improve his confidence in new places. Minkuk would prefer a mellow home to retire in with someone who can take him for a walk around the block so he can check his "pee-mail" daily.
