Minerva Chihuahua Mix Normal, IL

Minerva is a beautiful 2 year old Chihuahua mix looking to find a forever home with her mama, Camilla. They came to us very fearful last week, we couldn't even get them to stop cowering in the back of their kennel. In just a week, they have made great progress - coming to the front of their kennel looking for attention and treats - but they still have a long ways to go in trust. Despite their fear, they are both incredibly sweet!

Camilla and Minerva are looking for a relatively quiet home with few visitors so that they feel safe. No kids under the age of 10 years old. They will need supervision, even in a fenced in yard, because they will be difficult to catch. We do believe that one day, they will be comfortable enough and trust their new owner(s) enough to run freely in a fenced in yard.

Her minimum adoption fee with her mother, Camilla, is $335 plus a $12 fee per dog, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
