My name is Mindy and I have a big story to tell you. I am a Chihuahua mix. I was born 12/24/21 and was adopted in February. I was one of Macy's babies.

I was adopted to a family with children and two Dachshunds siblings. I was returned to PFP and the only explination that was given was I have have too much energy.

She was returned and immediately she was put into foster home to evaluate. Evaluated by the foster parent: Mindy has excessive energy but does slow down when allowed to run in the yard to play. Exercise is a must. Mindy needs guidance to stay on task. Her attention pattern is very short if not reminded to calm down. She wants all the attention when there are other dogs around her but is not aggressive towards them just wants to continuous play. When by herself she is much calmer and does entertain herself as long as she has a toy or a hard bone to chew on. Will chew on things she is not supposed to If not given access to toys or bone. which is Normal for a PUPPY.

This puppy is very smart and very trainable. She has to have somebody that will stay on top of and stick with her training. She has a lot of love in her. You can tell she has not had the training or somebody has given up on her. But she can learn, she has proven this. She knows sit and stay and has also learned to walk on a harness. She may have too much energy for small children at least until she learns her manners. When you take her out to go potty she does her job outside. But she will go potty on pee pads when she can't make it outside especially at night. She is also crate trained. Please if you feel that if you can follow through with what this pup needs fill out an application. Remember she is a full-blown PUPPY... Also she does play bite and stops when corrected. Will also give love nip. But she does not bite down. As I said she will stop it if corrected and will learn not to do this. Again remember she is a full-blown PUPPY.
