I am a Big, Playful and Sweet Doggie!
Hello, my name is Mimi. I am an Adorable 1-Year-Old American Bulldog and Hound mix. I get the Big, Boxy Head from the Bulldog, and the Sweet/Lovable side from the Hound. I LOVE people and can't wait to meet you!

My Personality!
I am Very People Focused....I LOVE Everyone. I am also very Enthusiastic! I sometimes overdue it a bit when I say hello...so be prepared! I am all Heart, just sometimes don't know my own strength! I am very Eager to Please and want nothing more than to be LOVED!

I am a Smart Doggie!
I am Housetrained and have worked with a Professional Dog Trainer. Please ask the rescue for all the commands I know.

Are You the Right Family for ME?
I am looking for an Active, Loving Family who will appreciate my Good Looks, Playful Nature and Enthusiastic/Loving Personality! I LOVE Everyone, but will do best in a home with Adults and/or Children over 10 Years of Age. This is just because I could accidentally knock a small child over while I am just playing (I don't know my own strength). I am good with Dogs who like to Play Rough - if you have a dog, please bring him/her to meet me to see if we are compatible. I have not lived with a cat...so I am not sure if I like them.

More You Should Know!
The rescue prefers my new home have a fenced yard. I am an Active Doggie who would do best in a Fenced Yard so I have a place to safely play!

I am a Healthy Doggie!
I am a very healthy 45 Pound Doggie who is full grown. I am up to date on my vaccinations and I am already spayed. I am all set to live a long and healthy life with you!

We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: rescueme93@yahoo.com to see if that pet will be there.


Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

Adoption Fees
- Senior : 9 years & up $100-$250 (Price depends on individual circumstances)
- Adult : 2 years to 8 years $325
- Young adult : 6 months to 2 years $350
- Puppy : 6 weeks to 6 months $375

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.

MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
