Milo's Story

Hi, my name is Milo! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Shy, sensitive, playful, affectionate
-Can Live with Kids: Yes - likely ok with kids 10+. All kids in home will need to meet before an adoption can be finalized.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - slow and supervised introductions always recommended.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes - Milo has been fearful at WHS and would do best with a dog who is already socialized and gentle. All introductions done at WHS to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can do Apartment Living: No thanks!
-Potty Trained: Working on it!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes - basic obedience. (breed requirement)
-Energy Level: Medium/High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, neuter/MC.

Milo is a sweet young pup with a heart full of love - he’s just learning how to show it! At first, this handsome boy can be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring new places. But give him a little time (and maybe a few treats), and you’ll see his tail start to wag and his affectionate, playful side shine through. Once Milo feels safe, he loves to stick close to his person. He’s happiest when he’s part of your day, whether that’s hanging out at home, going for walks, or curling up beside you for a nap. Because he’s still a puppy, Milo is learning about the big world around him and will thrive with a patient, gentle home that can give him the steady routine and reassurance he needs. Milo would do best with someone who’s home often and ready to help him build confidence through consistency, love, and positive experiences. If you think Milo sounds like a good fit for you, please fill out an application for review!
