Meet Milo

Why has Milo been passed on for so long? ? She thought she had a forever home for Christmas, but they decided to get a puppy. Here's what Milo said:

"I'm a good girl! I am:
-About 2.5 years old
-About 65 pounds
-Housebroken
-Kennel trained
-Great with kids
-Great with doggies
-Great with Kitties
-Great travel buddy
-Great movie/sports watching buddy

I promise to love you unconditionally for my entire life. I was in a kill shelter as a puppy...I thought I had my happy ending when a family adopted me...but they drove to a dark place and put me out of the car. I went potty, but when I was finished, I couldn't find my family. They were gone! I was scared and all alone. Thankfully, a nice lady saw me and took me into her home as a guest for Rescue Texas. I was only supposed to be here temporary, but I've been here for a year. As long as I am here more dogs are unable to be saved like me.

Please be my forever people so that my foster family can save more dogs.

Thank you, Milo"

We are in Texas, but we love sending our rescue dogs to other US states! Travel with a USDA Health Certificate to most US cities is available for an additional $300 fee.

Our dogs over 6 months of age have been vaccinated, dewormed spay/neutered and microchipped!

The adoption fee for this pet will enable us to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Many of our rescue dogs have high medical expenses. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where there is a severe pet overpopulation crisis.

Breed: We are an animal welfare organization and we do our best to estimate the breed based on our experience and research. We do not guarantee the breed and/or size expectation of the puppy in our Petfinder ads.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the steps below!

First step is to fill out an adoption application:

We are grateful for the time it takes to complete the application. We read each and every one, but we are only 2 people with full time jobs, therefore, we aren't able to respond to every applicant....but we try.
