Meet Milo
Milo came to GSR after being surrendered to a local shelter for being too jumpy with an elderly family member. He was born June 5th of 2020 and currently weighs 80 pounds. We noticed Milo had some lameness on his right leg at times, so he was evaluated by an orthopedic specialist. Milo has early elbow dysplasia in his right elbow. At this time he does not require surgery as it is mild, however will need to be monitored as he continues to grow. His forever home will need to keep him on joint supplements and ensure he is kept lean.
Milo is crate trained, housebroken, and knows some basic commands. His foster mom describes him as well mannered and calm for such a young boy. He loves carrots, sticks, and playing ball. He is a quick learner and thrives on routine. Milo can be reactive on leash to other dogs but his foster mom says he seems interested in play. He is cautious when meeting new people but warms up after some time. Milo has not been around young children or cats since coming into rescue.
The application is our first step and we will let you know as soon as it arrives.
Adoption fee includes: spay or neuter, all shots, heart worm testing, fecal test and microchip..
