Please call 850-968-3260 for information on any of the animals you see listed with the JHS (Jr. Humane Society)

Millie is a 3-4 year old Yorkie/(possibly Maltese) mix who weighs around 20 lbs. She is ADORABLE! Millie would like to be a Princess as she feels that's what she was born to be. She picks and chooses doggie friends and can be snippy with other dogs. She wouldn't mind being the center of attention as the only royal member of the family. She is protective of her people and can be standoffish or nippy at new people until she warms up. This seems to take a bit longer with men, and she would not be a good fit in a home with young children. She loves to cuddle and give oodles of kisses.
She needs a fenced yard...she loves to run around and play BUT also she loves to DIG. She will need supervision in a yard so this behavior can be corrected.
Millie is VERY smart and knows several commands. She is very playful with her people and on her own. She loves long walks and car rides and loves her toys...she always has one of her stuffed animals with her and chews on bones.
If you'd be interested in adopting Millie, please contact Pam for an application. An approved application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet.

The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For over 30 years, we have helped animals in the Gulf Coast area.
All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a furever home, JHS provides all necessary vet care, including but not limited to: shots, spaying, and neutering.
We hold adoptions event every Saturday at PetSmart in Pensacola, FL from 12-4
