This shining star is as special as her name! Milky Way is a 5-month-old beauty with a mostly white coat and one adorable golden-reddish ear that gives her an extra touch of charm. She’s the sister of Twix, who is also up for adoption, and together they were found as street dogs with their mom in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

Milky Way is full of life—playful, energetic, and always ready for fun! She loves people, adores other dogs, and brings joy wherever she goes. Whether she’s romping in the yard, chasing after a toy, or cuddling up after a day of adventures, she’s the perfect mix of spunky and sweet.

She looks like she’s going to be a good-sized girl, likely around 40-50 pounds when full-grown, making her a great companion for both playtime and snuggle time. Milky Way is ready to brighten up her forever home with love, loyalty, and lots of tail wags.

The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $620.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.

Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $75.00)
