Hi! I'm Milan - A Heart Full of Love Looking for Home
My name is Milan, and I have so much love to give! I'm a beautiful girl who's learned that life can have unexpected turns, but through it all, I've never lost my capacity to love deeply and completely.
I first came to CARE as a tiny puppy and found a home I loved for years. When circumstances changed and I found myself back in the shelter system, CARE remembered me and rushed to pick me up - they knew I was still the same sweet, loving girl I'd always been.
Thriving in Foster Care
Now I'm in an incredible foster home where I've gained 4 healthy pounds and weigh 53 pounds of pure sweetness! My foster family adores me and says my tail literally NEVER stops wagging - I'm just that happy to be loved again!
What Makes Me Special
I'm a champion kiss-giver who loves car rides and nice, easy walks. I'm potty trained with perfect manners - I never jump on the couch unless i am invited and I will try and carry 2 soft toys on my walks. Sometimes you may have to carry them for me.
Here's the sweetest thing - when I know you're about to leave, I sit up and gently place my two paws on your thigh, as if to say, "Please stay a little longer." I just want to be near my people because being close to those I love is what makes me happiest.
I'm also quite the smart cookie! I'm great at the "watch me" command, and I know sit, down, and paw. I've even learned "wait" and will patiently wait when asked - I love showing off my good manners and how well I can listen!
My Promise
