Meet Mikey
Mikey and his littermates were born in a shelter when their mom Millie was found stray and brought in by animal control. The puppies have been loved and nurtured their whole lives - at first by wonderful shelter volunteers and now by their doting foster family. They are happy go lucky babies who love to romp and play and be held when they poop out! “This is the best little litter of puppies I’ve ever had,” their foster mom says, “they are so cute and have such great little personalities.”
The pups are 10 weeks old and will be ready to go to their forever families soon. They are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventives, and are microchipped. If you’d like to give Mikey a lifetime of love, please send your application to sharonv@doubledogrescue.org.
PUPPIES GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their personalities. Puppies cannot be left unattended for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Young puppies can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy". and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
