Mike – The Gentle Soul

Hi friends! I’m Mike, a sweet and affectionate Lab/Cattle Dog mix, born June 11, 2021. At about 40 lbs, I’m the perfect size for couch cuddles and sunny window naps. My past wasn’t easy, I likely spent time on the streets and experienced some tough moments — but I’m learning every day that people can be so loving and kind. Once I feel safe, I’ll melt into you with endless affection.

I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, and doing well on leash training, though I can be timid and easily spooked if someone comes up behind me too quickly. What really makes me shine is being around other dogs — I absolutely love them and gain so much confidence from their presence. My favorite things are rolling in the grass, sunbathing, and snuggling up close on the couch.
