Mike German Shepherd Dog Mix Oakland, CA

Mike is a lovable galumph of a 2 yo German Shepherd. In the short time he’s been in foster care he’s picked up a bunch of new skills. He can sit, go down, leave it, and ring a bell to go outside. He loves to play fetch and chase teenage boys around the house. He’ll thrive and delight in a family situation with some training to deal with his teenage moodiness around other dogs. He’s a total sweetheart adored by his foster family who would love to keep him but are moving from a house with a yard to a condo.

Mike is best in a home with no dogs, even though he has made dog friends, he can get grumpy and not want to play. German Shepherds are really smart and being he is young, he has so much potential. Mike is a doll, but will need continuing training and someone who has experience with this breed.

We don't know how he is with cats and prefer a home without to be safe. :)
