Meet Miesha
Forever Foster Wanted ?
Miesha has been a part of this rescue family for many, many years. She enjoyed being a loved member of a family for over 10 years until her owner was no longer able to care for her. She has been temporarily fostered with a dear friend of this rescue since her return but the foster is moving and had to bring her back to the rescue. At over 14 years old we are looking for a forever foster home for Miesha to spend the rest of her life comfortably as part of a family. Through our @staygoldenprogram, Miesha’s medical care will be provided for the rest of her life while she gets to enjoy all the luxuries of a forever home.
Here is what her foster had to say about her: I will be traveling much more in a few weeks, and she’ll need a new foster home. Sadly, I can’t be that for her, though I’d be honored to!

1. She’s a great communicator. She will let you know exactly what she wants.
2. Training included. She will let you know what she likes with her routine.
3. Constant entertainment. This girl sleeps a lot and gets in the funniest positions! Just give her a couple of beds or a sofa, and she’s off!
4. Loves food. The way to her heart is clearly through her belly. She takes treats gently and is always up to convince you to give her more.
5. Background noise included. If you like a little music in the background, Miesha will be happy to regale you with her snoring, especially when she’s belly up on your sofa.
All she asks for is comfy beds, food, plenty of treats, a quick pat every now and then, and patience with her “old lady issues.” She’s super easy once she establishes her routine and isn’t a needy girl. She’ll likely want to be separate from other animals but loves her crate and will do anything for a cookie!
