3yr old Shihtzu/Terrier mix
Ever get a hair cut and feel like a new girl! Midge 2.0 here, rocking my summer doo! I’m a 3 year old Shih Tzu Terrier mix! My foster mom says I got it all going on: I get along with the 3cats, 2 kids and 1 husband at my foster home, I’m house trained, I walk well and ignore other creatures, I get along with all dogs I have met and I love to snuggle! I am good in the house unsupervised and behave well in my crate. I love walks, car rides, dances, playing with my toys, playing hide and go seek with sandals, watching you on the toilet and following you everywhere. I am also a quiet super fan at my foster brothers 4 soccer games a week!
I hope you choose to be my forever family- we will have so much fun! I will require a home that can provide me with regular grooming, as my hair grows fast. I don't love the groomer and will make noises when they cut my hair, but I have never experienced such love and attention before, so I will take some time to get use to it.
The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.
**For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**
**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
