Midge Mixed Breed Chestertown, MD

Midge is a sweet little dog who loves her people and has never met a stranger. She gets along well with the cats and dogs in her foster home, though she has not spent time with children.

Midge would love to be a constant companion to an active person who works from home. She is very food motivated and is easy to train -- fun agility or trick training may be right up her alley -- She can already walk backward on her hind legs! Midge loves taking walks, and snuggling on the sofa to watch tv.

While Midge is good with other pets, she does prefer a slow intro, and will let another dog know if they are being pushy. Midge is well crate trained, and is working on becoming housebroken (she is tethered or crated in her foster home).

Dogs that have not lived previously with children will not be offered to homes where young children reside. We do not 'test' dogs with children or cats, since testing may not show an accurate picture, and may give false comfort to their new home. If a dog has lived with children or cats, that will be stated above.
