Mickey Siberian Husky Olympia, WA

Mickey is a 1 year old husky, about 80 pounds and is a really nice boy. He was surrendered to the shelter because his previous owners would not keep him contained and he was raising ruckus in the neighborhood with his sister. His sister was adopted a couple months ago but Mickey is still here. I've been going to the shelter every week and walking him with my dogs and I just don't get why this wonderful dog hasn't found his home.

Mickey is fun and enthusiastic and loves everyone he meets. He's great with other dogs and is a terrific play partner but he might be a bit much for small dogs. He loves going for walks but you should be prepared for a strong dog who can keep the leash tight.

Potential adopters must be able to provide a secure environment for him. Mickey has a high prey drive and will be placed in a home without small animals or livestock. He's good with older children - they should be bigger than him.
