You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out locally.

Mickey is a 10 yr old poodle mix (maybe some maltese in him too?) and he weighs in at 20 lbs. He would do great in a calmer home (no young kids) and another dog to play with would be great.
Mickey is one sweet boy! He is housebroken and uses the dog door to enjoy our fenced yard. He's great with other dogs and cats. He loves napping on our dog beds, but his favorite place to sleep is at my husband's feet (he sleeps in a chair). He bonds easily to his humans and rides well in the car. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy... Mickey's your boy!

Mickey joined us from Lollypop farms after he was returned shortly after adoption for nipping at new owner. Lollypop did find that he had an ear infection and believed that might have been reason. He did not nip there nor has our foster had him nip but want to be upfront on history. Was not a serious bite but was enough to cause return.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
