Meet Michael, a 1 year old retriever mix.

This sweet boy came to HART with his litter mates, and has had an eventful start. Shortly after his Freedom ride to his HART foster, he was diagnosed with the dreaded Parvo. Michael proved how strong he was by pulling through like a champion.

Michael is a beautiful spunky boy who loves to play fetch and carry toys around in his mouth. His potty training is going well through the use of a doggy door at his foster home. He has good leash manners, and really loves being outside.

Michael has been in competition for his food most of his life, so he shows a bit of protection instincts in close proximity to other dogs while eating. Keeping feeding areas apart assures that everyone remains calm.
