Howlo! My name is Michael and I’m so happy to meet you! I’m a sweet pup looking for a family of my very own!

My foster family thinks I'm pretty awesome and wanted me to share what they've learned about me so far!

He’s so very smart! He knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and he’s on his way to mastering ‘paw’ and ‘kennel up'. He’s food motivated but will also “work” for stuffed toys.

He loves our three dogs even though they haven’t quite made up their minds about him. He’s very curious about our cat, but the cat has made it clear he’s not interested and Michael seems ok with that.

His baby teefies are falling out so he likes chewing on bones and he loves de-stuffing stuffed toys. He does great on walks and is definitely more confident when another dog is walking with him. If it’s just him and me he tends to stick closer to me but if he does walk ahead, he likes coming back to check in before going to check out more smells and sights!

He’s showing interest in playing fetch in the house but I think he’s just a bit too distracted by the outside world to spare time fetching. He has a sharp mind and thrives on challenges. Michael is a fast eater and would benefit from a slow feeder bowl. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house, even overnight. He’s comfortable in the crate overnight and during human eating times. He will be a great addition to any home!!

I’m around 5-6 months old and 35-40 lbs.

Because I'm still a puppy, I'll need time and patience to learn all the things I need to know like how to walk on a leash, sit, wait, housetraining, and maybe even some really cool tricks! I promise to pay attention when it's time to learn all these things and will be extra attentive for some treats!
