Meet Michael
Meet our Michael!
It'll be 2 years in December he joined us from a high kill shelter here in Ohio. We are lucky the warden was fired before he could put our boy down. Michael was hurting from his severe neglect and wasn't the friendliest with the shelter folks but then they didn't understand a dog not feeling good and full of fear.
He joined us with tumors (benign) , decaying teeth, anaemic from flea infestation, and a severe skin infection on most of his body. He could not get better till we took him to a specialist that diagnosed him with a thyroid condition. He is now doing so much better on his medication and we have it under control.
As he gets older he needs a quiet home. The current foster home is too busy for our guy, and he is acting up with the other dogs. He is a typical Eskie senior wanting a peaceful home, and to be the center of your life, your attention, and your love.
We are looking to either adopt this soon to be 12 year old senior, or find him a new foster home to make him happy.
Please email us at ohioeskierescue@outlook.com if interested on adopting or fostering. If fostering we will go over the requirements and we will pay for all his needs. We would prefer someone locally, near Cincinnati, Ohio or a Vet that will work with us on cost. We will not ship him to anyone. You would have to come to Ohio so we can meet you.
