Meet Micah

Micah is a 4 month old 13lb German Shepherd mix. We would expect him to be a medium size dog full grown. He is a little sweetie!!

He is working on his pottie training trying to follow in his foster friends footsteps. Sometimes being a southern boy, when the temps up here are below freezing, and that wind-chill is kicked up he is a bit reluctant to go outside, but when he's inside he knows to go to his pottie pads. Otherwise he follows his foster siblings outside and knows what to do. He is very treat driven and loves high energy praise when he is a good boy.

Micah plays and gets along with his larger foster friends. We are not sure about cats and he hasn't been around children, but he's a good-tempered puppy, I'm sure he will be fine. He is crated during the workday and does fine.

If you are looking for a companion that will follow you everywhere to make sure you are safe and to see if there is anything new he can find, and cuddle with you when you need some love and warmth Micah is your boy!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
