Meet Miaco
Dear future family,
It's me, Maico. While writing this, I am only about 10-12 weeks old, and I weigh about 12 pounds. I'm the sweet little black lab mix puppy that you picked out to be your very own! I just wanted to write to you and thank you in advance for being the best family a baby like myself could ask for, because I just know you will be so amazing. You see, at the moment I have something they call "parvo", and I'll be honest, it's been really scary for me. It made me feel really sick at first, but then these nice people at Rescue One started to fix me up for you. They keep telling me "The worst is behind us, and the best is yet to come". Boy, do I know it! I am already doing really well and am a playful, cuddly pup. It will be a while before I can come home with you, but I really hope you filled out my application in anticipation anyway. I am going to need continued work with potty training, although I am catching on very well! I am also comfortable in my kennel. I am a submissive puppy who gets along with other dogs and cats and I'm sure I will be the same way with whatever else occupies my surroundings. I just will need slow introductions, which I know you understand. Thank you for being the perfect match for me and thank you for loving me enough to wait for me to be fully healthy before bringing me home. I just can't wait to see you all!

P.s I hope our new home has a fenced in yard for me to run and play in! And maybe even a playmate of some sort for me to bond with! Fingers crossed!!
