Mia's Story

Mia is a special girl who was surrendered to us when her owners were going through a divorce. Mia is a sweet, quiet girl who gets along with everyone she meets. She is not a barker and is an "easy keeper." Shes not demanding but still is attentive and loving. Mia walks well on a leash, is good in a crate and is housebroken. She came to us with an advanced but fixable medical problem which was not disclosed by the owner. She had bladder stones taking up so much of her bladder that she could hardly hold any urine which is most likely the real reason neither owner wanted to keep her. She had surgery and does have to eat a high quality diet low in phosphorus but otherwise is completely healthy and ready for her new home. She is 9 years old and she weighs 17 lbs. She will be a wonderful companion to anyone who has love to share with a beautiful dog.

PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE MAKING AND INQUIRY If you see a rescue dog that you would be interested in opening your heart and home to, please fill out an application at the link listed . * Please note that we do not adopt out of the state of Arizona ** We process each application to be sure we match the right family who will best meet the needs of our rescue dog ~ that he or she will thrive! Once that match is found, we will contact you and set up a Meet and Greet with you and all members (including 4 legged) that will be living in the home. We work with your schedule and they are done 7 days a week. As an "All Foster All Volunteer" rescue, we do not have a physical brick and mortar building to visit our rescued dogs. All of our rescues live in our home based rescue or with their foster families to show them love and transition them into family life full of happiness
