**Meet Mia – The Sweetest Warrior Princess Looking for Her Forever Home!**

Everyone, say hello to **Mia** – a 7-month-old bundle of joy who is looking for her perfect forever family!
Mia was born with **spina bifida**, a congenital condition where the spine and spinal cord don’t form as they should.
**Mia is a powerhouse of fun and energy!**
She has full movement in her hind limbs, is *not* paralyzed, and has **no mobility limitations**.
She runs, plays, zooms up and down steps, and never drags her legs. She’s just like any other playful pup – with a little extra sparkle.
Because of Mia’s spina bifida
This affects her ability to control her bladder and bowels – she is both urinary and bowel incontinent, meaning she doesn’t realize when she needs to go, but she *is* able to fully empty herself. To help manage this, Mia wears a diaper like a champ, with absolutely no issues!

**Mia’s Favorite Things:**
- Tug of war with her furry friends
- Chewing on bones and stuffed animals
- Playing with high-energy dogs
- Cuddles from kids, adults, cats, and dogs of all sizes
- Anything involving food – she’s super food motivated!
Mia knows her name , and has amazing recall
She knows “ stay “ and “ shake “
She’s stubborn on a leash, and refuses to use a wheel chair, but she gets around just fine without one!!
Mia is already **spayed, microchipped**, and up to date on her **rabies, distemper, and prevention meds**.
She’s also **heartworm negative** and clear of all intestinal parasites – this girl is healthy and ready to go!
Mia’s ideal home would have another active dog to play with, but most of all, she just wants a family who will love her unconditionally and see her for the amazing girl she is.
