Meet Mia

Please meet Mia - She’s a two-year-old Siberian husky who was surrendered to the rescue from an abusive home we are told. .

She previously lived with children eight years and older , and also with an eight-year-old child in a second foster home .

She has displayed some resource guarding with food. The aggression was toward the other dog, not a person.
Noone was bitten .

We think she was very nervous as she has been through many changes lately.

Mia loves to ride in the car, she’s good on the leash and it’s very very sweet with people. We would suggest no toddlers as that makes her very nervous.

She is currently staying at a local veterinarian and will have her spay surgery. She will be ready for adoption after surgery.
