Hello, friend! I'm Maria!

I came to Great Plains SPCA after I was found lost and alone in the dead of winter. Thank goodness I'm now safe and warm, but what I really need is a forever home. I'm a bit reserved, so it takes me a little time to get to know you. Don't get me wrong, I am eager to find my people, I just need some patience and understanding. I walk very nicely on leash and taking walks is a great way for a dog to bond to her people, so that would be a lovely activity to do a lot. Once you let me get comfortable, I'll be your loyal companion for life. Please ask to meet me. I'd love to be your dog.
