Mia German Shepherd Dog Rochester, NY

Mia is a 2 year old German Shepherd that found herself in a shelter when her owner no longer wanted her. She was likely an outdoor dog that did not receive much training. Despite her difficult past this girl is a love. She is quick to learn, and very much wants to please her people. She is house trained, and not destructive. She does not like to be crated. It is recommended that she be an only pet. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard. Mia is accepting applications and will be ready to go to her forever home after she completes her vetting.

A adoption application must be filled out to meet with any of our foster dogs. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to http://new2urescue.org if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $275 to $350
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$300
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
